Auf die Frage was sein erstes Instrument war antwortet der aus Dinero, Texas stammende Musiker Beaux Loy: My voice, meine Stimme. Mit seinem Bruder Zak und ihrem langjährigen Freund Evan Houston, sowie einem aus Austin stammenden Musiker gründeten sie 1997 in Austin, Texas ihre erste Band, die Damesviolet. Sie schafften es, sich auf mehreren Namenhaften Festivals zu platzieren und haben damit auch ihren Bandmanager Mark Proct auf sich aufmerksam gemacht. Es wurden weitere Demos und Alben aufgenommen, bei denen unter anderem John Ryan mitarbeitete, der auch schon mit Santana im Studio war. Seine Liebe zur Musik hat ihn schon mit 9 Jahren dazu inspiriert Gedichte und Songs zu schreiben. Die dadurch resultierende Aufmerksamkeit förderte seine Kreativität und die Möglichkeit Empfindungen zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Heute verarbeitet Beaux verschiedene Erfahrungen und Gefühle in seinen eigenen Songs. Er möchte Diese jetzt als etwas völlig neues der Welt außerhalb seiner Heimatstadt nahe bringen. Alle Songs wurden von ihm selbst geschrieben, eingespielt und produziert. Sein erstes Solo Album steht bereits online zum Verkauf. Beaux erlange die Achtung der Texas-Music-Community und teilte die Bühne mit Künstlern wie The Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, Lit, Dishwalla, Blau Oktober, Bush, Tage der Neuen, Edwin McCain, Avril Lavigne, und vielen mehr Beaux Loy steht nun unter dem deutschen Management MB Management/Leitung Ch. Bouzrou und sein nächstes Ziel ist es, seine Musik in Europa, insbesondere Deutschland vorzustellen Beaux Loy: Ich war erst einmal in Europa, aber ich liebe es. Die Europäer haben eine besondere Leidenschaft für Musik, was die meisten Amerikaner nicht mehr haben.

Beaux Loy has shared stages with Bush, Avril Lavigne and Dishwala, to name a few. Now, he's branching out with his own international sound. His voice reaches the soul. "The Other Side," a gripping proclamation of renewal and the more upbeat "Wake Up" currently stand out in today's fare with their modern take on electronica of the 80's. The new LP - to be named - is scheduled for 2008 release. Loy is backed by veteran Austin players, Mark Jorgenson (guitars and keys), Phil Brasenell (bass), Mark Son (drums & percussion) and Aaron Dishman (electronics). Beaux allows his fans to be part of the journey and has a loyal following because of it. "The Internet's been a huge asset for putting my music out there and the worldwide response we're getting shows it," he says. At nine, in hometown Dinero, TX, Beaux started writing poems. After a couple of years and his first guitar, they became songs. the hypnotic melodies and intuitive lyrics got the attention of his parent (they themselves grew up with musicians in the family) who helped facilitate the dream. Four-hour road trips to Austin for music lessons followed. Mom, Karen Loy, was the eager roadie and manager, making those drives with Beaux and his brother, Zak Loy. Beaux's career kicked off when he and Zak finally called Austin 'home." Local success came with their band Damesviolet, via collaborations with producers Mark Hallman, Carl Thiel and later, LA's John Ryan (Santana, STYXX). The band's first LP gained significant local radio play and sales. Music manager, Mark Proct (Jimmie Vaughan, The ARC Angels, Storyville and Vallejo) is credited for taking the boys under his wing early ..ing Beaux hone his skills as a solo artist, musician and songwriter. Beaux's current ten-song album is produced by Dwight A. Baker (Kelly Clarkson, Heart, Vallejo, Brandi Carlile, Enrique Iglesies) at Matchbox Studios in Austin, then mastered by world renown Vlado Meller (Shakira, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Celine Dion) at Universal Mastering Studios.
